Demontray Lockhart always knew his disconnection with the USA, his birth home, was more than just a passing phase. With a wanderer’s streak, his experiences teaching in South Korea and Thailand told him one truth: He did not know who he truly was. But that’s about to change. This is the story of a man’s journey to discover his identity, his name, and his culture. From dark dungeons to slave-cleansing waters, Demontray takes us on a journey to Africa where it all began. In Ghana, West Africa, where the horrors of slavery evolve into Demontray’s need for understanding, belonging, and finally, peace.
