Kwesi Essel is a trained media ‬‬practitioner with over a decade of experience working in Ghana and West Africa at large.

He has worked as a freelance producer with international media organizations such as BBC, CNN, Apple ‭ ‬TV +, National Geographic, VICE ‭ ‬News, and a host of local media outlets. Kwesi Essel has led video documentary consultancies for IRC Ghana, SEND Ghana, Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition, STAR-Ghana Foundation among others.

Kwesi Essel is experienced in both live TV and radio broadcasting, digital content development, field production, event ‬management, scouting, casting, filming, and post-production management. Kwesi believes in telling the African stories in the right context and bridging the gap between modernity and African traditions.
